Background and Experience
Mark graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1995 with a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting and Finance) and a Bachelor of Laws. He also obtained a Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia (now FINSIA). Mark was admitted to practice in Western Australia in 1996, joined Steinepreis Paganin in 1998, was appointed Partner in 2001 and has been Managing Partner since 2015.
Mark has extensive experience in advising ASX-listed and private entities. He has advised on numerous capital raisings, takeovers, schemes of arrangement and private acquisitions and disposals, together with a diverse range of corporate and commercial matters, in the mining and resources and industrial sectors.
Mark is a former Governor of Hale School, including as Chair between 2018 and 2023. He is currently a non-executive Director of SRG Global Limited, an ASX-listed company.
