Toby is known for his practical and pragmatic approach to delivering client outcomes. Experienced in a range of complex transactions across public capital markets and public and private mergers and acquisitions, Toby acts within a range of industries including mining and resources, technologies, defense, life sciences and digital assets.
Toby has a strong background in governance and corporate compliance having served as a Governor of the University of Notre Dame Australia for 16 years, a member of the University’s Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and as a non-executive director and Chair of an ASX-listed company.
In 2018, the University of Notre Dame Australia announced the introduction of the ‘Toby Hicks Service to Student Community Award’ in honour of his contribution to the University over 23 years.
